It's time for the Spring Online Pole Dancing Scholarship!!!!!
(I hope you read that in Oprah's voice)
It brings me great pleasure to announce that, once again, in Partnership with the lovely people at StudioVeena I am able to offer 2 separate scholarships for 1 year of pole dancing lessons through https://www.studioveena.com/ .
But that's not all!
I will also be awarding 3 separate 30 day memberships through http://www.studioveena.com

You heard me! Pole Dancing is an amazing activity that has brought so many dancers joy and I want to share that with you! Learning can be difficult without professional direction and I want to help you in your pole journey. There will be two ways to apply for these scholarships. Please read all of the rules and requirements before submitting your application/ entries. You are able to apply for these Scholarships starting on April 1st until May 1st, 2013.
But, why?
I love pole dancing. It has brought me so much happiness and I want to be able to share that joy with as many people as possible. This is about giving back to the Pole Community that I love.
As many of us know, pole dancing can be an expensive hobby, and I wanted to find a way to provide the opportunity for someone to take lessons who may not ordinarily be able to financially. I chose to make the scholarship specific to StudioVeena as I am aiming this scholarship at beginner, intermediate, and brand new dancers. In my own opinion the lessons at StudioVeena are great for beginners and those still learning the way of the pole.
That being said, if you are an advanced dancer who still feels they would benefit from this scholarship, feel free to apply. 🙂 This is open to everyone.

How did this happen?
When I first started this Scholarship Program in 2012 I had been searching for a way to give back to the pole community that I love. Running the scholarship program helped me do so and was so well recieved I knew that not only did I want to repeat it, I wanted to try to grow it.
Last Year the folks at Studio Veena generously matched my donation of a 1 year membership. This year they have generously donated a 1 year membership again! That means that once again I will be able to give out two 1 year long memberships to Studio Veena. I would also like to thank Webmaster over at StudioVeena for all of his help in making this a possibility once again.
This year I will be growing the program. I will also be offering three 30 day membership scholarships to Studio Veena. Recently Studio Veena rolled out their new 30 day Pole Dancing take off program. This is a great intro into learning the basics of pole dancing and laying the foundation for proper form, strength building tips, and stretching lessons.
I personally went through the 30 days and found it to be a great intro into many of the lessons I had never checked out. It was also my inspiration to get serious about my flexibility training!
I want to offer the 30 day memberships so I have the ability to help out more polers. I also think that the 30 day take off is a great program to teach or reinforce the foundations of pole. Can I apply for both Scholarship programs?
Yes, as long as you meet the requirements. However, you cannot win both. If you are selected to win one, you will not be able to be considered to win the other. If I select your submission for the 1 year scholarship, your entries for the 30 day scholarship will become void.

Why are posting this now?
Because this program makes me excited and I wanted to share so you can start getting your scholarship entries ready. I do this program because I love sharing the pole love and growing the community. It makes me happy. Also it is hard for me to be patient when it comes to announcing exciting things.

This scholarship…what an absolutely lovely and generous idea! I would love to enter, but I won't have a new pole for a couple of months – hubby's birthday is in May so my savings will go to spoiling him because he deserves that much and more. Then I will build my savings back up and it will be pole time!

EagleSpirit, there are tons of lessons that do not require a pole, so I say if you're interested you should go for it!! I have flexibility training, conditioning, foam rolling, floorwork and even many of the pole strength could be done without a pole. Big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share this scholarship program, support it and enter! I have begun reviewing the scholarship entires and would liek to ask for you help in selecting a winner. I have shared excerpts from the scholarship entires.
