I’ve just tried my first attempted at pole sit and omg my poor thighs are in so much pain now.
    Is this normal?
Im convinced I have done it wrong that’s why it hurts so much now.
I managed to get up an sit there (holding on) for about 15sec say but at the same time I started sliding down bait and my skin was sort of stuck there if you get me an when I got down my thighs where red raw.
Any advice on how to make it a little easier an less painful or do I have to just deal with it till I can do it right.
    Thanks all

I think it’s pretty normal for the first pole sit attempts to be a little painful. It always takes a while for you to build up a tolerance and tougher skin when you’ve never required your inner thighs to do anything like that.

I will keep at it then an hopefully it will become easier and less painful. Maybe not today tho as my thighs are still stinging lol.

You are probably doing it right, but it takes a while for your skin to get used to gripping the pole. It felt like that at first for me too, but now I feel like I can do a pole sit for ages! It seems to be pretty painful when you start to learn a new move that works with a different area of skin. It’s going to get better with practice for sure (:

Very normal eventually your skin builds up a tolerance. But Keep aloe vera gel handy it helps soothe the burning and stinging.
