Ordered my Xpole
I just placed my order for a 50mm TG xpert xpole. Now I just have to play the waiting game for a couple if days until it arrives. Should only be 2 days. I debated between the 45 and 50mm poles but in the end went with the 50 since that is what we use in the studio I go to. I also have more trouble with leg grips than hand grips and I think the 50mm will be easier to get my leg grips on. The studio also has chrome poles and I slide like crazy when we get going. Especially if I’m nervous and working on a new move. I’m hoping the TG will be a little more sticky and give me a little more confidence in my holds. I’ll update when it’s here and I get it all set up.

Boo Yah! My pole finally got here after waiting all day for the FedEx guy. Patience is not one of my virtues. Actually I was impatient because hubby had to work at 4:00 and won’t be off til 2:00AM 🙁 I told him to wake me up when he gets home so he can help me put it up. However… of course I had to unbox it and take a look. I LOVE the finish! It has a lot more grip for me than the chrome we use at the studio. I had hubby try to pull a section of the pole out of my hands before he went to work and he couldn’t. The 50mm is perfect for me as well because my thumb overlaps my fingers just a bit when I grip it. I have kinda big “man” hands. Such is life. So I’ll get it put up tonight then give it a try. Any installation tips from those of you who already have one? I’ve watched the youtube videos and will have hubby watch them with me again tonight.

Great pole choice I have the original xpole spinning in 50mm TG for over 5 years now and I love it! Getting the xpert 45mm in chrome soon (hope its not to slippery as u mentioned, wanted to try a new finish. Happy Pole~ing 🙂

Got my pole put up last night and spent an hour playing. It seems like a great pole that I will really enjoy. I did have a little trouble getting it to spin just right by my home is an older one and the ceilings aren’t really level so I think that was the problem. It should be fine when I use my permanent top mount in my bedroom since that is going on a beam that we checked and it is level.
I’m so wore out today though because I had an hour class last night, then played for an hour at home, slept 5 hours and went to a strength training class for a hour. Nap time!
