    Hey all!

So, I recently moved to a new house, which means the pole went down for a bit…and I just got it back up! I couldn't wait to get back on it! I missed my pole so much!

However, I don't know if anyone has ever asked this question…does anyone know what to do when the floor you're working on hurts your feet?! I went from a carpet floor to linoleum, because now the pole is in my kitchen! I have WAY more space for it, too!

So do most of you always ALWAYS wear shoes? Or is it a "you get used to it" thing? Is there some trick I'm missing! I'm always turning on the balls of my feet, and now it's getting kind of painful to do!

Have you tried foot undies? I know a lot of gals that love them…

Never heard of them! What are they? Hopefully they aren't TOO slippery?

Google them. There are paws and also undies. They are lyrical half shoes, typically with a suede section on the ball of the foot.

Foot undeez are awesome! I had the same problem when I moved into a new house with wood floors–I managed to scrape off a stomach-churning chunk of skin (say that quickly 10x) after doing a bunch of pirouettes…ouchies. Anyway, these things have just the right amount of traction and I feel like they actually kind of help with keeping your toes pointed. The cheapest pair I found was on amazon.

Oooh! They look awesome! I think there may be some places here in town that would sell them, but if not…I'll scour the internet! I always try to avoid using paypal/visa whenever possible 😉

    Thanks guys! 🙂

I found a place that sells them…not but two blocks from my house, too! I bought me some leopard-print FoodUndeez, and they work like a charm! I'm so happy to have something a little fun to wear while I'm dancing, and that saves my feet from the linoleum!

Thank you so much, ladies! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gifhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I just bought a pair today.  Had a REALLY hard time deciding because they had so many of the cute ones at the store.  Decided against the ones that had studs and rhinestones as I did not know if they would scratch the pole.  Ended up with black and silver ones.  Can't find them anywhere online to show them.

Runemist- I usually wear the no-show ankle socks and fold them over so the top of my foot is exposed but the ball of my feet are extra padded https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif  I have this really snug pair that I wear when my feet get cold and I cut a oval-shaped hole on the top of the foot so I can still climbhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
