I have heard that many moves are more "comfortable" (though I wouldn’t quite call any new move that, lol) on the 50mm as opposed to the 45mm. Also, 50mm seems to be more standard in studios as well. That’s all I know on the topic. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Well I started in the fitness studio, so it was 50mm, and then I purchased the 50mm as well. I guess I was just used to it, so it made sense for me. Even though I have very little hands, the 50mm worked just fine. It probably made me work on my grip strength more because of having to grab around the larger size. It feels a bit better between the legs for climbing and pole sits, because there’s more surface area for the skin to connect with. I just don’t have any experience with the 45mm, to be honest. I hope that’s helpful! I’m sure Veena will have some insight on the pros and cons of the 45mm pole.
