So I am competing for the first time ever at the Southern Pole Competition in a few weeks and I was highly curious about their flooring. Has anyone competed at a PSO competition (I am sure many here have!) and if so, what was the flooring like? It is somewhat confusing watching the videos online cause the whole white floor throws me off. Does skin tend to stick to it more than a wood floor. Is it slicker with heels?

Any info on this subject would be awesome!

    Thanks!!

I was fine in my heels, one routine in heels(7 in) one w/o. I found the flooring not flat as one piece though b/c it was many plates put and taped together. I did do my backbend b/c of it. Also took out some spins(not on pole) b/c I didn't wanna trip and lose my balance over one. But it was fine for the most part. You'll be fine. Get there when you can practice. They have practice each morning of the event. Good luck!
