Is that taken from below or above?
If it is below you will need to get a board screwed onto onto 2x joists. You cannot put a Dome on a single joist.
If the photo was taken from above then you are fine because the ceiling is Wood so just center the upper dome as close as possible to center of a joist

This is in my attic and I was looking up at it…this is the roof of my attic and I just took a pic of it and wondered if my ceiling in bedroom looks the same way behind the drywall. I cant get to that tho so I was thinking maybe they were the same.

I think I understand what you are saying though. So if this is what is behind my ceiling I shoud be fine….rite?

If your ceiling the pole is up against is plywood or composite board, like the photo, then that will be fine.
Just remember to get the upper dome as close as possible to the centre of a joist.
