The diameter is amazing. It makes spins so much easier. I can even do a little spinny mode now. I couldn't before cuz I couldn't hang onto the 50mm long enough. It put too much pressure on my wrists. My hands are just too small for a 50mm; they aren't made for shorties. My hand just fits around the 45mm, but I have thunder thighs, so this pole is perfect for me! 😀 Now if I could actually grip it with my body that would be nice. I gotta order some pole physics lotion and slather the grip aids on still, but my spins are 100% better.

I do mostly spin, every so often static but I don't like it as much. Awesome that you are doing some spinny now!
Glad to hear too that it is working out great for you! Do whatever works… if the lotion and grip stuff helps, go for it!
