Please help! New brass pole slippery?!

Itac 2 is made from beeswax so I would assume it'd be safe for all poles. I use Itac 2 level 4 and my pole has been powder coated. It gives you really good grip, or at least it does for me. When I was learning pole holds, I put some on my tummy and boy did I stick, so much so that tore that area up a bit.

If I remember correctly itac will send you small samples of their product for free. I have the different levels but I keep them in my bag just for others to use as it is useless for me. I have seen people use it on all metals. The only thing is that it is a bear to get off the pole which is why a lot of studios do not like students using it.

Itac can be good, but since it is beeswax, it can melt and get a little slippery. If you cannot get corn huskers lotion, then try pole (as it feels similar.)

Thanks everyone. I am going to try the stronger levels beyond itac2. After posting my question, I also searched itac here at StudioVeena and found some older discussions about it. Very helplful : )

I have itac level 4 and hate it, yes it's GREAT to make you stick for the first few tricks but then suddenly it turns to slippery and it's actually dangerous, I can't tell when it will make me slick and I've almost fallen cos of it! I stick to shaving cream on my legs and liquid chalk on my hands

I have mighty grip and it too works for a few tricks then makes my hands slippery. I but Cramers Firm Hold aresol spray from amazon. It is awesome!

Gotta say I LOVE the Cramer"s Firm Grip tac spray too. It never cakes up on my pole and doesn't make my hands sweat like i-tac did. I buy my from ebay. good luck
