Ok so my boyfriend finally said he’d buy me a pair of Pleaser’s!! (I’m a poor student, don’t judge me! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

I’m super excited, and am looking at the ones in the pic, or a pair without the glitter, but will be similar style, i.e. ankle strap.
However, I’ve never had shoes like these before, so i’m a bit concerned about getting the size right. I’ve trawled the threads here, and it seems some people get a size down and stretch them out, and some get a size up. My problem is that I have narrow feet. UK size 6 usually, but sometimes i’m a 5. I’m kind of inclined to get a small size and stretch them, but if they’re too small, I know I will not want to send them back, lol!

I want to order them tomorrow, but want to get the right pair! What do you think?

I have skinny feet, too, and have 2 pairs of Pleaser shoes and 1 pair of Pleaser boots. I wear a (US) size 7 in them. I usually wear a 6.5-ish in those type of shoes (I wear an 8-8.5 in sneakers, weird, huh?). I didn’t have to do any stretching, they fit perfectly. But everyone’s feet are different.

If you’re worried about size, are there any websites that you can find with free shipping and return shipping? Or Google for promotional codes for those kinds of things? That way you can exchange for a different size without any extra costs. I get my shoes from shoebuy.com, but it’s a US site and don’t offer the free shipping/return shipping for international purchases. But maybe there’s a similar site for the UK.

I have skinny feet too and I get my normal size in Pleasers and they fit just fine. I wear a 10 and I get a 10 in pleasers. the first pair I ordered (from electriqueboutique.com) I ordered a 9 because a 10 in a heel just sounded so big. The accidently sent me a 8 which was not only too small but, waaaaaaay too small. I called and said I ordered a 9 (not an https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif but I may actually need a 10. They sent it right away without a problem and it fits perfectly. I would suggest electriqueboutique to anyone buying shoes for the first time because their no hassle return policy is great. They even emailed my paid return label to me right away. I just wrapped the box and UPS came to get it from my door.

I’ve had a bit of a nightmare buying pleaser shoes/boots.

I usually wear a UK size 5 (sometimes 4.5). First shoes I ordered were like the ones you want but clear – initially, I ordered a US8 ’cause that seemed to be what the size conversion chart I was using suggested. They were miles too long – I had about a inch of shoe sticking out beyond my heel! Ended up swapping them for a US6, which are the right length but very snug around the front of my foot (and I thought I had narrow feet!). They do stretch out a little but not as much as I expected.

Ordered a pair of boots in a US7 and they’re wearable but I suspect a US8 would be a smidge more comfortable.

Oh Moth that sounds like a bit of a nightmare!

Being in Ireland, I doubt there’s anywhere that will do free returns (There may be one company, but I was in contact with them and the woman was so rude, that I really don’t want to go there!)

The people i’m ordering from say go up one size, but maybe not in open toe, so maybe i’ll just stick with my size (UK 6) and see what happens. I’m so excited, I’ve never had shoes like these before! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Let’s hope they fit, thanks guys!

I’ve got the opposite problem. I’ve got wider feet (though some girls shoes do come in my width) and long feet (size 10) so it’s hard to find any shoes that fit…but especially platforms. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cat.gif

    Hey Audball,

If you go into Miss Fantasia on South William Street in Dublin, they have Pleaser Shoes in a few different styles
The mark-up they put on them is pretty high, so you may not want to buy them there.. but you can try them on to get an idea of fit.

I did that, and I think that I have the opposite problem to many of you ladies.. my feet are two wide and they pinch at the toe (when the length is fine). So you guys are saying they stretch out a bit after a while, eh?

I know Miss Fantasia, I didnt know they did Pleasers, will deffo have a look this week, I probably won’t buy them unless they have the perfect ones (I have my heart set on them), but would be great to try them on, thanks Deetron! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
