  • Pole Aria… any thoughts/experiences? What do you use it for?

    Hey Veeners!

My husband just bought me a Pole Aria for my birthday and I'm very excited, but I've only seen people dance with it, and as my pole isn't permanently located I can't swing around it using the silks so it seems quite limiting.

I really want to use it for stretching and conditioning mostly, like the Fly Gym, but as it's 2 silks and not a sling/hammock I'm not sure what the best way is.

If anyone has any experiences/thoughts/videos they'd like to share I'd be very grateful 🙂

    Thanks everyone x

You can do one of those nifty wraps that they do around your feet and lower yourself down.

Here is a video another member posted. It was her first time so maybe message her and see if she has since learned more 🙂

Here is a really good thread regarding the pole aria: https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/5061817b-903c-4762-941d-1f240ac37250

I know Cat Gennaro has been teaching workshops.  I would imagine that many of the things you can do with a flygym/omni swing/aerial hammock can be done with the aria.

DO NOT use it on a removable pole. Period. It's meant for permanent poles ONLY.

If you want to stretch and do aerial yoga type stuff, you are better of getting an omni gym, air gyro gym or fly gym.
