  • Pole Burn

    I’m new to pole so just about everything hurts. I’ve been practicing on the basic pole climb and pole sits. Omg my inner thighs feel like the skin has been snatched off and the top of my feet hurt like crazy. Does this pain ever go away or will I just have to learn to live with it?

    The pole burn does go away, the more you practice on the pole helps, when i first started i practiced 3 to 4 days a week. any new moves you try you will get pole burn.

    It will get better!!!! As you learn to engage your muscles for moves instead of rely on skin you’ll find it helps …all comes in time. Soon muscle memory takes over and ta da, no more ouch. However, learning new things even if you’ve been poling yrs will have an ouch factor. Also I have a rule of no more than ten tries for a new move. This helps prevent excessive bruises. 💜
