Hello darling Veeners! Ok, I know its really early but my instructor and I are pretty sure that we will be coming out from South Africa for Pole Convention next year! We are soooo excited! I can't wait to meet some of you and of course soak up all the pole atmosphere for those 3 days! Has anyone already made a decision to be there?

Does anyone know when it will be? I couldn't find dates on the website but I might have missed something...I have no idea yet if I would be able to go but I want to so badly!!!
From Facebook: "Dates Are Confirmed!!! June 21-24, 2012 in LA!!"
I should be there! I work in a school and the convention is timed perfectly for my summer break. Plus I think I might be holding a teacher cert. workshop there!!
I'll be there. It's going to be in my hometown. Super excitement over here!
I do plan on being there! Should probably start ordering the veena buttons!!! Sure would be awesome to meet as many veneers as possible! it's about a 5-6 hour drive for me, but at least it's in California and not on the east coast :)
I live in LA so i am sooo there :)
Ive always wanted to go to LA so this is PERFECT for me!
We're going to be there! Already have it on our calendar.
cool that so many people are coming to LA :)
That is so aweeome that so mamy people are already putting it in the calendar! I will be asking for a LOT of advice, especially as our Rand Dollar exchange rate is not kind!
Ill be there!!!! Won't miss it for the world... Can't wait!
I'll be there!! :) so stoked and it's months away!
Absolutely - can't wait!
Are you going to be there, Jennifer (poleskivvies)???!!!

We offer permanent and portable options.@PoleSkivvies, I have every intention of being there. I'll have to swing a day or two off work, but that's the plan!!! BTW, how is "veneers" pronounced?? I say it 'veneers' and someone else said "veneers" LOL There's no difference in print!!! I'll have to get someone on webcam during Friday chat.
Its Veener like Weiner lol
Hahaha, I work in the dental field...so I always pronounce it like a" dental veneer"( to myself) out of habit.
Thanks for that Jag, I was trying to figure out what word to use to describe my pronunciation, haha I also pronounce it like that! When I heard David Owen say it, I didn't know what he meant so he had to explain to me. I didn't tell him how I pronounce it. I wonder how many others use different accent on it?? Does this fall under this thread? 😉
I am planning to be there. Hopefully stay at the venue or close by or crash at someones place in L.A. Who will have me over?
@pole jewel - the venue and hotel is the same location!!! Plus its a free shuttle from LAX to the hotel! I dont know what the rates are yet, but Jessalynn should be posting them soon!
Rates are reserved for $99 a night http://www.poleconvention.com/accommodations
@minicoopergrl *BIG THANK YOU* I so appreciate that. It sounds perfect to shuttle from there to the venue and that means no car rental. Is there shopping around the venue?
