Pole Convention – Nervous
Hi everyone! I think this is my first time posting on studioveena but I have been reading the forums for a while now. I live in Los Angeles, and have only been doing pole for a couple of months but decided I wanted to go to the convention since it sounds like a lot of fun.
I don't have very many friends who are interested in pole so I was hoping to meet some friendly people at the pole convention! Definitely sorry if I'm being a little creepy by just suddenly writing on here but I am definitely a bit nervous to be walking into such a large convention by myself! Please let me know if you're free to meet up and I'd love to be able to learn more from each of you! Thanks so much. Please feel free to message me 🙂

Just go! I went to the Detroit show a few months back all by myself. I am not social and was a nervous wreck! Veena was going to be there with some other big names from yhis site. I spent a lot of time roaming on my own, and did talk to some Veeners I saw. By the end of the night (and a few drinks), I was hanging with these great new “friends”. You will get out of it as much as u put into it…..make yourself go!!!!!

Was there by myself today. I was actually not intimidated like i thought i would be. Waiting for the lou landers workshop to start at 8:30! Would love to meet up! Ill be there tomorrow and sunday 🙂

I got my workshops mixed up! I didnt sign up for that one so I was mistaken. But I’ll be there all day tomorrow so hopefully I can run into all of you 🙂 my name is Grace btw!

I walked around all day today, Friday, with my studioveena button, but it's hard because everyone, including myself, is looking around all everything that's going on and looking for pole celebreties. MalciousMynx and I are here, I wish we could meet all veneers who are here to say hi and take pics. I was actually at the Lou Landers Polesations class also. I hate to say this, but I ended up leaving after the warm-up, so if any of you saw, that was ME!

I'm here with a couple of non-Veneers but would love to meet any of you! I'm pretty recognizable, so if you see the girl with platinum blonde and purple hair…it's probably me! 😉

I ended up having a great time and met so many nice girls. I'm so glad I made the choice to go, evne if it was by myself for the first day. I definitely learned a lot and I'm looking forward to being more active on this forum too and having pole as a means to meet new people.
