Pole Dancing Adventures

Needless to say, the superman kills me. Every. Single. Time. I know I have to just let my hips drop and voila– magic. They tell me so. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Welcome to Pole Dancing Adventures!
I'd like to thank Studio Veena for directing me to their fabulous forum! Hi, everyone!
For those who aren't familiar with my blog, I draw a weekly web-comic about my pole life and all the little oddities that happen in it. Rather than write about the pain and zaniness, it's more fun to draw it. So, here we go. 🙂 I started the blog in Feb 2012 and have over 30 posts so far! So, head over there and have a read! 😀

I've been watching you for a good long time! I love it!

I love you blog! I've been following it since day 1!
But from some reason, I never manage to leave a comment on any of the posts 🙁

Oh, you're the artist! My pole dance instructor showed me your superman comic my first day of pole class! But I figured it was just a one time thing, not a fully-developed comic series. I'm so glad you decided to continue with it, I read through all of them tonight and they are so great and true and it's just really nice to have it put into a visualization. Gamer's have their memes and athlete's have theirs. It's nice for an artist to put it into perspective for people who might not poledance. 😀 Thank you so much for sharing your awesome work and I'm definitely subscribing for more amazing truths in the future.

Oh, yay! So cool to meet readers here! I'm always open to ideas, humor, stories, frustrations — you name it! Pole is such a fun journey and this is the best way I know to express it. 🙂
Come visit the blog every now and then because I also like to do giveaways of pole products! I'll come by here and post comics from time to time, too. 🙂

BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!
Whew! Now that that's off my chest, how cool is Mr. Nagashima? I saw his besuited pole routine during the http://pole-dancing-adventures.blogspot.com/2012/04/international-pole-convention-in-los.html and I was blown away! He was clothed from head to toe! (So, I just had to draw it.) Pure entertainment and that's why Nagashima-san won "Best Entertainer" at this year's Miss Pole Dance Japan 2012!
Of course, we all know that skin is absolutely necessary to "stick" to the pole while dancing but Mr. Nagashima fashioned this special suit so he could have his ideal costume. It's risky, but he makes it work! It's really nothing you'd ever expect in the Pole Dance world which is why I thought it was a story worth telling. Tell me what you think!
