I wish I had Photoshop working or I would so make some of these! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

However, in the same spirit of "You Might Be a Pole Dancer If…", I thought it would be funny to share our ideas for Demotivational Posters for Pole Dancing.

For those that don’t know: "Motivational Posters" are those posters that have a thick, black border, some vague picture, and a fortune-cookie type inspirational title and message or quote printed along the bottom. Like a picture of sporting equipment, a heading of "Teamwork" then "we can accomplish more as a group than individuals" or something like that printed under it. (that’s a bad example, I know; Google them and you’ll know what I’m trying to describe.)

Anyways, some of those posters can get extremely cheesy and are easy to make fun of. Someone, somewhere along the line came up with the idea of "Demotivational Posters" that do the same thing but are meant to be funny (they can get pretty mean and offensive, though). You can Google to see some. A lot of them exist already for pole dancing, but they 1) are not usually done by pole dancers and 2) are often extremely offensive, like a picture of an overweight lady leaning against a street sign and the caption saying something like "pole dancing: you’re killing the pole". https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif Makes me wanna strangle somebody…

With that being said, please keep this light-hearted and tasteful and avoid being offensive. This is supposed to be fun! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif (this thread could go wrong very easily… )

Oh, and feel free to share your thoughts on some pole motivational posters if you feel the need. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Here are a few that I thought of:

Picture: someone clinging to the pole for dear life (it’s very blurry).
Caption: "Oh Snap! Forgot the pole was on spinny!"

Picture: someone curled up in a fetal position on the floor beside a pole, hands clutching thighs.
Caption: "Pole Burn. Makes the old workout phrase ‘Feel the burn’ not sound so cliche, after all."

Picture: several bruises on someone’s leg
    Caption: "Bruises. Better than trophies."

    Get the idea?

    Your turn! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
