Wow! I would just die if I were able to go. I want to go so bad!! I was checking the prices on the hotel and I can’t get the discount code to work. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, you have to call in to apply the discount code. I just booked last week so there should still be rooms. Good luck!

Gona be at pole expo too ! Yay! Went the first year it was awesome. Last year I was due two weeks later lol so missed it. But looking so forward to being there again ! The privates r amazing because you get personal attention and get to work on what you specifically want. But the teachers are great and even if it’s a bit ahead you will learn tips and concepts that stay with you as you keep on learning.

Yup, Michelle pretty much hit it on the head. That’s pretty funny. What about wearing a Studio Veena sticker or something? It seems like such a thing wouldn’t be that hard to make. Maybe I will talk to Veena and find out if she is ok with me getting some made.

At previous events all StudioVeena members wore StudioVeena buttons. Veena had some made a few years ago. I still have mine. 🙂

Thank you @princess buttercup! I did price a room without the discount it was over $500 for 3 nights! I don’t think I can do that much😠Do very many women bring their husbands? If so, how do they deal with it? It would be a lot more expensive for two people and this is something most non polers probably wouldn’t enjoy and would get bored easy.

@jessies I know last year a couple people posted on here that they were looking for people to share a room with to split the cost, and they were able to find some “roommates” for the weekend. Maybe give that a try? I dont think the weekend would be super-fun for husbands, unless they also pole.

@Jessies- I was going to suggest the same as Sharky Hill. My room for 3 nights was around $430 (including estimated tax and resort fees), but I am splitting that with one or maybe two girls. You can get a double queen so two people is pretty comfortable, if you have friends double up and split it between 4! I imagine the flights are the worst part for you though, and you cant split that 🙁

Yes the rumors are true, Pole Expo will be moving to a larger hotel in 2015. We are quickly blowing the walls off the Palms – woohoo!

@sharkeyhill thanks! I might try that if I can convince hubby:). @princessbuttercup thank you for the advice! Splitting sounds like it would work and I found plane tickets for $100 a person round trip! I will see what I can to ASAP! So if anyone knows of any other couples going that needs roommates someone let me know. I have one person I could ask but hopefully I can work something out. Great advice @fawnia!!

Princess Buttercup – I think the buttons are a great idea. Shirts wouldn’t work for me as I’m going with girls from my studio and we are planning on wearing our own shirts.
Regarding refunds – Did the 4th of July deadline refer to Pole Expo passes or workshops? I still have to add a few workshops, but there was one that I was thinking of dropping in order to do that and I don’t want to unless I can use that money towards a new workshop.
If people were interested, I could do a google doc or something similar that has your SV name and which workshops you are participating in, that way we would know if you are taking a class with another veener and should look out for them.
