Jessies – I intended on going with my hubby, because honestly it’s Vegas so there would be tons for him to do. He was invited with the caveat that he was not to expect to see me for 3+ days and I would be talking about nothing but pole the whole time (not too out of the ordinary for me anyways, LOL), but other ladies from my studio are going so we decided to make it a girls’ trip instead.
-
@verticali- girls trip sounds way better lol! That way you don’t worry bout keeping hubs happy. But, don’t think I can get away with that, or I totally would. I have vacation I could cash in and it would be enough to pay for myself so I’ve been working on it and told him that it would make the best birthday present:)
-
Verticali- I am also going with my studio group, so the buttons make the most sense. I think a google doc would be great. I think I posted the classes I am going to, but if you want me to PM you with them, let me know.
Thanks!

Another hotel that is close to The Palms is The Rio. It’s less than half a mile, totally walkable. My total came to $303 for 3 nights. I booked on amoma.com. I just checked and the price has risen a bit, but is only at $336.

Don’t forget ladies there will be FREE yes, FREE classes at Pole Expo. This year X-Pole is sponsoring a FREE Yoga workshop as well as a FREE Fit and Bendy Flexibility workshop with the one and only Kristina Nekyia. Be sure to jump on this as space is limited – so register online to secure your spot once you have your Pole Expo pass.
http://www.poleexpo.com/free-expo-room-scheduleAs well- the X-Pole Aerial Playground will be available to you for free all day long. Personally- I love the word free.

Oooh!! This may be a dumb question, but what does the playground consist of? I know last year there was a pole at the X-Pole booth that I messed around on for a minute, but this sounds like it may be different from last year!

Great idea with the free workshops! Pole Con 2012 had a bunch of them and the event was very organized.
I honestly loved Vegas when I went to Pole Expo last year.
I enjoyed the Expo as a whole, The variety of workshops are endless!!
As to answer some of you ladies concerns about skill level in workshops– i honestly believe you can walk about with anything you want from a workshop.. I didnt have the skill level at ALL to do a Marion Crampe workshop in 2012, but I can still to this day break down how she taught the marion amber..
It all depends on the type of person you are.. I’m not easily intimidated– I dont ball up or get nervous with a room full of people that are better than I am, I expected it each time and I was fine. I still learned sooo sooo much!!
I particularly loved Liquid motion with Jeni Janover and Silks with Miranda Tempest at Pole Expo 2013– Great teachers!!
But, the registration process for Expo 13′ was HIGHLY unorganized. Alas, from my understanding, it has been revamped and moved to a different location in the resort!
If Pole Con 2012 and Pole Expo 2013 could make a moonchild, we would have the ultimate pole event of all pole events!!I really hope to be there in 2015!! Its still too soon to know!

Hello ladies I just read the whole discussion. I am new to pole, new to SV and I will be going to Pole Expo next month and as I am so new to all of this I am not sure about what I will be able to do at the Expo as the workshops are a little out of my price range this year and also being new I don’t know too many people. I did book a room by myself so if anybody would like to share that would be great, I was just at another convention in Vegas, that’s where my money went this year.

Hey!
I was all excited to go to Pole Expo 2014 and now I can’t! I did buy my pass already though! I’m selling it if anyone is interested and hasn’t bought theirs yet! They’re usually $165 + tax, but I’m selling mine for $120 OBO! I really wish I could go but for now I hope I can pass it along and I’ll go next year! -
Hey SerenityS! The free workshops would definitely be a good place to start! I haven’t looked at the schedule to see what beginner classes there are, but maybe sign up for one beginner workshop too! It’s such a fun event, either way, you will have a blast!
-
Does anyone know if there is anything like this in the UK? I would love to go to one but can’t really hop on a plane and jet off half way round the world lol (as fab as that sounds!)
-
Thanks SharkyHill yes I do plan on doing all the free workshops that I can and just watching.
-
Teryn I might be interested but I’m not sure if I have to work that weekend or notams I only work days so I could go at night but don’t want to pay for a pass if I only attend the parties…. (I live in Vegas) I might email you soon if you havent sold it 🙂

No worries at all GlitterHips! I’m fairly easy going about the price so just let me know if you are able to go! That way you can go to the competition!
