Hi guys! My mom is buying my birthday present early for me since I want to go to Pole Expo for my birthday. Some events are already sold out, so I would like to buy my spots ASAP! I have a small dilemma, though

Almost all of the workshops I want to take are on Sunday.
And they are all back to back.

The work shops I'm interested in are:

Friday: Nothing, all the ones I wanted are already sold out :/
    Saturday: Anastasia's Advanced Pole @ 12pm to 1pm
รขโ‚ฌโ€น12:00am – 1:00pm 60 min Off the Pole Inversions with Marlo Fisken
    Sunday:
    Marlo's Off the Pole Inversions 9:30am – 10:30AM
    Evgheny's Contemporary @ 10:30am – 11:45an
    Michula's min Aerial Technique @ 12:00pm – 1:00pm
    Nadia's Static Spins @ 1:15pm — 2:15pm
    Flying Laura's Creative & Improv @ 3:00pm — 4:15pm
    Marlo's WTF Floorwork class @ 3:30pm – 4:30pm

So there's obviously a few over laps. I really want to:
Take atleast 1 Class with Marlo
    Take Nadia's Class
    Take Michula's Class.

The other thing is, even though I've been in Adv for almost 6 months, there are still a lot of moves I can't do. I'm a flexible dancey type of dancer, not really hyper-fitness pole dancer. However, Evgheny is super hot. And I respect him the most out of any male pole dancer and feel like I would be missing out if I wasn't in the same room breathing the same air that he breathed. So I'm a bit of a fan girl. But I also don't want to waste an instructor's time if I know I'm not up to level.

That being said, I've never taken a work shop, so I don't know what to expect. I'm keeping an open ear and looking for some suggestions on time management. Money is not an issue, so I'm open for anything ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for the help you guys!

This is my first expo too and I am excited! This topic has gone around a few times and the same thing has been said multiple times don't over do it. Take 1 pole class and maybe 1-2 bendy/flexy/conditioning or floorwork workshops a day. This will keep you from overusing your muscles, so you won't injure yourself. Some have even said that they have gotten more benefit from the non pole workshops because the pole workshops move fast and it's hard to get all the moves or individualized attention in that short time frame.

I HIGHLY recommend Nadia's static spin workshops! She is a WONDERFUL instructor(she was one of my instructors at the first studio I went to) and her static spin tips will take your static spins to another level!

My advice would be to take Marlos class on SAT and Evgheny's and Nadia's workshops on SUN. FRI there is still room in Liquid Motion and myself and AZblanco will be in that class ๐Ÿ˜‰

CapFeb– you are hilarous! he is a sexy man, i agree!
in my opinion, you shouldnt worry about wasting an instructors time. you are paying them for their service. regardless of your level (and i know you are advanced), you will not, i repeat, NOT, be the only that will need adjustments.
i witnessed this first hand at pole con last year.

I can empathize with how you feel, but dont feel unworthy to take a particular workshop.
In Marion Crampe workshop at pole con (was for all levels) I thought i would be the only person that couldnt invert at the time, I swear to you I wasnt!!!

I learned her unique style of warm up and cool down. And until my death, I wil NEVER forget how she broke down the marion amber even though I am not even 80% close to having the strength to do it.
You will never lose out on taking any workshop…
Now obviously, i signed up for marions workshop last year because it specified for all levels.
I think Pole Expo is 100 times more organized and i like that they seperated the workshops into levels. So everyone has an idea of what is required ๐Ÿ˜‰

Arg! I agree about all the Sunday workshops, there's so many good ones that are scheduled in the late afternoon.  I had signed up for Zoraya's Int.-Adv. workshop and ended up having to cancel it cuz I couldn't get a flight back to Seattle late enough.

I've actually decided I'm going to take Bad Azz's workshop on Friday,
    Saturday is free ๐Ÿ˜€
Marlo's Off the Pole Inversions (Saturday's Class is booked :< )
    Static with Nadia
    Flying Laura's Improv
    And Michula's.

I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem until I get to Laura's class. I'm used to doing 2+ hours at the studio of hardcore learning…and then I go back to work ๐Ÿ™‚ You have to remember how much I pole. But that's what my schedule looks like so far.

Glad you figured it out. Only you know your body limits & if you can handle it go for it! And it sounds like you can & you are! Dang, I wish I had your pole stamina. You’re going to be one busy gal but it will be tons of fun & sooo worth it!

Looking so forward to meeting you & all my veneer buddies at the expo ๐Ÿ™‚
