  Pole Install

  Just wondering if the beam for the pole needs to be a certain size? Does it matter? Will a stud finder tell me how large the beam is? I'm so confused 🙁

  As far as I know the beam doesn’t have to be a certain size. You should be able to determine the width of your beam with a stud finder. Pass your stud finder over your ceiling and mark where it starts beeping and where it stops, that will be the width of your beam.
