@flygrl are you sure they don’t have two types of diameters? I was browsing over the wall there and there was a bunch of motivational cards by pole dancers. A lot of them included working better on 50’s. Not only that, but some of their poles I could fit my hand around and some I could not. My memory might be fuzzy though, as I think I went about 6 months ago @_@

I lived on Saratoga and Steven’s Creek for a couple of months, and I just took the 101 to Woodside, then a left onto Middlefield. After that, things get a little tricky. You have to take a right into a parking lot (I think it’s the building is titled “Adult Center”) and follow the parking lot past the railroad tracks then I think it’s the second left. The map was updated so you can zoom in and see what I mean. The first time I went it took me like, 20m to find the place from Middlefield.

this sounds awesome! I try to go to pole studios whenever i travel too and it's so interesting to see what others do! If you end up in japan, there's an epic one in tokyo (just called pole dance tokyo) and the advanced class there was absolutely awe-inspiring.

CapFeb- they may have had different diameters in the past? ..i've only been going since july of this yr and they've been around for 6yrs, so who knows what kind of set up they've had in the past? if the classes are on the empty side, i often travel from pole to pole to find one that has just the right stick to it, lol, and they all feel exactly the same as far as width goes.

hi Ly! so to get to poletential – i take 85N to 101N to woodside, then left on middlefield. after the 4th light, there are train tracks and you take the immediate turn to the right after the tracks. then you just keep going straight past the trailers and turn left at 2682, think its the second left. i unfortunetely have a very limited window on when i can go (pretty much only saturday mornings, the "total pole" class at 10:30).. let me know if that works. i'm there every saturday and the instructor (ellen) is GREAT! its $35 for a drop-in. let me know if you have any questions : )

Simona, is the class for all levels or for a cetain level? I'll be free on Saturday morning. Do you want us to go together? I can come pick you up if you want. Let me know.

Hi Ly,
There is a sat morning "pole fusion" class which is from 9:30-10:30 and combines pole technique/tricks with dance and is more for intermediate/advanced levels, otherwise there is "total pole" (which is the class i go to) from 10:30-11:30 which focuses solely on technique and tricks. that one's also intermediate/adavnced but the instructor will cater the "trick" to your level. she goes around and gives everyone one-on-one time and lets you know how to modify it to your level. hope that helps. i don't think carpooling will work though because i need to be somewhere right after class. are you gonna be able to make it? it'll be cool to finally meet! thats the day i'm buying the pole from one of the other girls! yay!
see you sat! : )

Hi Simona, thank you for the message and I'm sorry for responding a little late to you. It actually made me realize that I need to spend more time with husband this weekend too since he stays at work late during the week and I'm going to the pole party on Sunday. Both classes are awesome but I won't make it. Certainly next time we'll meet and have fun at the class. Let me know how the class goes and how much fun you'll have with your first pole 😉 Ly
