So just what it says. I'm thinking ahead to a couple of routines II'd like to create and ( hey I do live in Texas after all) and was curious if anyone had found pole shoes/boots that were styled to look like cowboy boots. I mean they'd still need to have the platform footbed and the stiletto heel so I could all the pole things.

If a manufacturer doesn't make them, does anyone have a lead on someone who knows how to customise pole shoes that way? Or ( worst case scenario since I am the worst crafter ever) how to DIY????

The only things I can find by googling are with chunky heels. Like this:

Are the platforms really that important? Because I see things like http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/cowgirl-ankle-boots-stiletto-heels  all over the place. I think they're super cute and not terribly hard to find.

Honestly, I think you could pole in actual cowboy boots if you really wanted to.

I agree, could probably just use real cowboy boots?  If you want a boot look you could also go with the revolver boots, I saw a pair recently that I really liked, but they don't so much look like cowboy boots. Just the revolver part and bullet belt makes it a little reminiscent of cowboys/western.

I also happen to know that these boots can be bought with the revolver heels also in black. they were pretty badass.

thanks for the links! OMG those revolver ones are hot! I might experiment with a more affordable stiletto boot too.

Hmm…I did see someone pole with actual cowboy boots on and while it kinda worked it also looked like certain moves were hard to do…plus I like the stick, slide & gripability of a platform for floorwork & certain holds. Yeah, I want it all 😉

I have the ones that tamikat posted. They are made with a soft fabric so they have no grip. But they are cute. Good for floor or chair routines, but not so much for pole.

There is a place in Chicago called Skyscparer Heels that makes custom shoes and boots. They can make just about anything.
