Pole Teacher Training/Certification Weekend in Wilmington Delaware
Hey everyone,
I'll be at Physique Dance in Wilmington Delaware on Feb 26/27 for a teacher training. It's a twelve hour course sanctioned by the PFA and approved by both ACE and AFAA. I designed the course for people that already know how to pole dance and I recommend at least a year of pole experience (several times/week) before taking my course. Also, since so many of you all are going to NY for the USPDF weekend, but I was am open to running the course in my hotel room that weekend. I reserved a room in Hotel 99. I don't know if I could pull it off b/c of everyone running out to workshops all weekend, but who knows? If everyone is flexible and if there is enough interest, I'd be willing to run with it.

how can u tell if they are certified? just asking cuz i wanted to do the nypd but didnt want to if it wasnt certified.

totally had a brain lapse on that last post. my question is how can u tell that that a certofication program is approved by ace or afaa? ive seen a lot of them post on fb but wondered about the quality etc. so i was wondering if they had to post it like u did.
also, some of dont have studios to go to. is there an alternative for us to get certified through you? like renting space for u to come? interested to know.

Hey Kat, I guess if you wanted more info about a training program like NYPD, you'd have to contact them to see. I don't 'have' to post that mine was approved by ACE & AFAA but I like to because I'm proud of ithttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif. I am a continuing education provider for ACE and AFAA which means I can offer credits for my course that ACE and AFAA accepts for their certified professionals who are renewing their certifications. I'm ACE certified as a Group Fitness Instructor and every two years I have to earn 2 CEUs to renew my cert. So someone who needs to renew can take my course towards their renewal. Hope that makes sense!
Also, I don't need a studio to do my training. I could get by with a few x-poles in a house. Where do you live? I have summers off from school, so I can travel for July and August to do trainings.

thanks for replying!!! im def interested. i have 2 poles at home and live in upstate, ny. i plan on getting the ace group cert soon. and would like to get pole cert as well. the whole process of navigating thru who is a good choice to get certified is a lil dawnting!! so please excuse the "dumb" questions.
