Hi – I have a client who when practising a difficult move sustained a bruise on her inside thigh – she put arnica on and avoided putting it under further pressure – after a week or so she tried it out with a simple butterfly flatline Scorpio – it still hurt and she can feel a little lump under skin and some little bumps on top of skin – she rested it again and then tried again – however it now seems to be super sensitive to even a light touch – any ideas on how to proceed ?

What move was she doing? White distiller vinegar, applied via cotton ball has been amazing for healing bruises!

She may have bruised worse under the skin than what was visible.  The lumps possibly are little pockets of pooled blood.  It may take a few weeks.  As for the sensitivity, that may be due more to hormones and her mind than from the injury.

Great thanks – she was trying some weird hard one handed planche move by slan a Russian guy – she was doing it in class with a guy and was determined to master it before him – I should have been paying more attention to them really – but yes I think something under skin xx
