Pole classes around Chicago?
anybody know of a good place to start taking pole classes between Kankakee, Il and Chicago, Il?

Empowerment Through Exotic Dance. Mary Ellen is the owner. I have not taken classes with her, just know her though a bunch of pole forums. I believe she is in Chicago Heights.

Mary Ellen – from what I know of her is an amazing teacher! Safety is priority #1 and she has trained with some of the best in the industry – KT Coates, Jenyne Butterfly and numerous workshops in Jamaica.
i have been talking to her for 3 years or so online and she has always been super helpful!!!! I really adore her.

Mary Ellen is great. I just got back from a week long trip to Jamaica where she was instructing. I definitely recommend her classes.

Shelley danced in Jamaica and I saw her dance in St. Louis though I didn’t realize it was her at the time but I remembered her later on when she booked our Jamaica trip because she did such a great job!
Jamaica was awesome! We are doing it again next year…just ironing out the details now but will have information soon. It should be from 11/6-11/13 and will have the same feature instructors…possibly one or two more!
Shellz…any time you are interested in classes, just call or write. You obviously realize you aren’t far from us.
