ok, fair enough. I think curves are beautiful all the time and will always think of them as a good thing. I'll say huge boobs or huge ass all day long. sorry, but i don't believe in minimizing or not saying the awesomeness of things that are awesome. HUGE BOOBS ARE AWESOME!

I'll also add that skinny is awesome, and so is not having curves. it's ALL AWESOME. because WE are all awesome. that's all.

It's very hard to find sports bra's or pole dance gear in my size at all. My boobs are 40G, so trying to find anything able to fit over them is impossible. None of the pole gear will fit my  chest, I have slight hope in Sweet Vixen, but remains to be seen. The sports bra's I do have were bought at Target and still don't cover all of me.

Just wanted to add that for women with awesome larger breasts 🙂 AND women with awesome smaller breasts a plain black sports bra with bright colored body binds gives you that hiot slightly s & m look I love lol … And while they aren’t cheap they can be used so many ways that they are worth it…over a bra, over a sports bra, over a tight tank…or just as is with nothing at all for your significant other or just you!

I bought a sports bra at Victoria Secret awhile ago – I personally didn't like it because it was "too" supportive and rather large, had underwire and a triple closure in the back.  It's a great bra but I'm not used to that mush support (I'm an A cup.)

I don't know much about cup size on bra's muchless sports bras but I do think the design of the bra I described above might be really great for larger breasted women.  So I went hunting, couldn't find it but here is a link to max strength VS bras.  They only go to a DDD (I don't know what that means)  but maybe some of you might like these if they are close to your size.

For me it’s much more about not being able to find shorts that fit right… While I like the idea of no muffin top waist bands – if I don’t have some elastic in my short tops the really just end up rolling down – the shorts them self fit fine until I move around in them lol. Under Armour has some cute ones that work but in general most suck for me. Whenever I can find tie side shorts that have a tie waist I will buy every one of them in the store or I will buy shorts and have a waist band tie put into them

Thanx for all the suggestions guys. My problem is I’m an average size girl with big boobs. Ha. Anything that is large or extra like the stuff I looked at on the Mika wear has a back that is a 38 or up and I am a 32. Lol. I have a super supportive one but it ends up making my boobs look bigger cause its a full coverage cup. Maybe I should design my own stuff to go over the sports bra or wear something over it like pancake.

I have 30GG boobs (very narrow back, and very boobalicious).  I find it very frustrating that pole tops "only" fit up to a D cup (or DD if you're lucky).  With my boobs, I have no chance! And I grew them myself, so it's not like they're surgically enhanced and would stay up on their own!

Hazi411, for small band with large cup size, try this bra from Panache.

I haven't purchased one, but I have tried it on in a store and really liked it! I'm thinking of ordering it in pink once my current bras wear out.

The small band/large cup size set of women is underserved, both in pole wear and in regular stores. I think a lot of times people think DD+ equals plus size, but not always. I remember looking around for my bra size in everyday retailers – Victoria's Secret stops at DD, but Lane Bryant starts at a 36 band. I end up having to just order online or go to boutiques which are expensive. A lot of women settle for "close enough."

Thanks portableninja 🙂  I have that bra, but in a different colourway. The pink is *very* pretty though 🙂

At the moment I mostly wear the Panache Cleo Jude bras (moulded cup), with a crop top over it.  Definitely agree that small band/large cup is not well catered for.  I agree with you that so many manufacturers think large boobs = large all over.

For our end of term (which was also end of year) performance the year before last, I bought a moulded cup red bra in a 16E (so that the cups fitted), and I chopped the surplus fabric out of the underband strap at the back – which also had the benefit of bringing the straps closer to the centre at the back, which was better for me, as, in addition to the large boobs/narrow back, I also have narrow and sloping shoulders!

Yup, I have narrow/sloping shoulders too! I've tried on so many bras over the years that I can take one look at a bra online or hanging on a rack and go "nope!" or "maybe…"

Here's a funny tip for home polers… you know what makes great pole shorts? Men's underwear! I bought some for my husband and after they went through the dryer they were just too small for him. Rather than throwing them away, I had an idea… and it turns out they make great pole shorts! They don't ride up the butt like womens "boyshorts" and they stay in place during tricks. I probably wouldn't wear them to a class because they look kind of silly, but for a workout in my house they're awesome and comfy!

Ha, my man wears boxer briefs so I was reading that thinking… huh? But then I realized you probably meant briefs. LOL.

I pretty much refuse to buy bras from online retailers, though. I really can't justify paying a lot of money, because these bras are always so expensive, for something I can't try on first to make sure it works. And I seriously, seriously hate returning items, it's a weird phobia/pet peeve of mine, whether to an online retailer or even in store. I avoid it unless totally necessary. (That said, there is a Nordstrom at a local mall so I might stop in, if my wallet doesn't jump right out of my purse and run away the moment I go through the door…)

I've had the same experience of being Too Big for Brand X but Too Small for Lane Bryant. I generally have better luck at LB at least in terms of finding my size, but I've found that a lot of their really cute/sexy bras, they only offer in the larger size range (or maybe they only have a handful of 36/38's in the store and you have to dig for them). I do have four really good LB bras (regular, not sports) that I like a lot for everyday wear. I don't think I've ever tried their sports bras?

And in general, I don't touch Victoria's Secret with a 10-foot pole. Not only am I not a huge fan of their advertising, but their idea of a DD is laughable, in my experience. Another retailer that doesn't understand that you can't just offer a bigger size of your normal bra and expect all to be well. (My opinion)

I don't know for sure who designs all these offerings, but my twisted cynical conspiracy theory is that it's women with small-to-average boobs who don't want competition from us busty ladies and thus have banded together to make sure we stay frumpy. Of course this is totally sarcastic and kinda mean so don't take anything personal from it. Just a joke to make me feel better about the relative lack of selection.

Back to the OP – Is MICHI comparable with AP?  There are everal pieces on MICHI that I LOVE and for 1/5 the cost….hmmmm….

I'm concerned about the quality though – I don't want to spend that much and have it fall apart.
