Hi guys!! I haven't been on this site in a while, I come on once every blue moon. I guess it was because I couldn't share certain things with you as I have never pole danced in my life and where I live didn't offer any classes (the one place that did stopped couple years ago). So no pole journey to discuss, rant about, get frustrated or happy over. But I'm so excited now I had to say it…….a club in my area is FINALLY offering classes. I'm not interested in the sexy side of poling (I find the artistic side more appealing) and it looks like this club is going for sexy (I think where it's being held at the club is usually a strip room (I can't call it strip club since it's not the entire club…..what is with me and double bracketting))….but I have to take what I can get right? My only real concern is that they might not be qualified and be thinking about safety first. This is the second time I've ever heard pole fitness classes being advertised ever in Jamaica (I'm on the eastern part of the island so visiting the workshops that I know some of you hold on the western side isn't possible for me) so it's not like they have much competition or as if I have many options either. I can't help being excited though. I hope I remember all the tips I learnt from here to determine if they are ok as instructors or not….example, if they going to try and teach me to invert first class I KNOW something's wrong but man would I be sad if I have to stop. But safety first!!! I don't know….I'm just really really excited to finally have this opportunity.
