I just found a ridiculous movie called "Somewhere." It's about a bored movie star who's trying to find something thrilling to fill his empty life. He drives around too fast in his Porsche, he drops stupid amounts of money in clubs and whatever… and every night, he orders these twin strippers to come over and do a duo pole dance for him. Their routines are so elementary and simple… it's quite hilarious. They actually pull off several decent beginner tricks, but they are not smooth really and the routines are kind of dumb.
I keep watching it over and over and fast forwarding to the pole scenes just for laughs.
Apparently the movie takes a turn for the serious about halfway through when the guy decides to adopt his 11-year-old son, but I couldn't be bothered to get that far. I'm too amused by the bad poling. Still, it's better than some of the pole in Dancing at the Blue Iguana…

this thread is hilarious!! I loved looking at the clips… who knew?! It's funny to watch all the different styles/skill levels.. I'm sure Sheila Kelly had her hand in a lot of these because of the Hollywood-LA connection.

also 2nd thought: Lindsay Lohan in interviews while making "I Know Who Killed Me" said she was taking pole classes like 4 hours a day everyday so I'm kind of surprised she didn't do more! I haven't seen the movie though so maybe there's more tricks in the film

Aw, nuts. Someone beat me to Jessica Alba in the movie Sin City. No aerial tricks, but if I could ever bodywave half as well as she does. . . . Is it hot in here, or is it just me? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

There was some "pole dancing" in one of the new Dexter series too, you know the kind you get in strip clubs!!! Pretty lame x

This is a video game and not a TV or movie, but my hubby has loved the Grand Theft Auto series since…well, since always. lol
I can't remember which number in the series it is, but in "Liberty City" one of the things you can do is go to strip clubs which have pole dancers. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif They're not half bad to be honest, they have some decent tricks as well as some more erotic type dancing, and I have seen the routines change occasionally as the developers add updates to the game. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_geek.gif

Addendum:
Reno 911!
S5 E12 Strong Sister: features possibly one of the worst pole dances in all of TV and movie history, performed by Kerry Kenney-Silver (Trudy). It's kind of hilarious.S5 E13 Wiegel's Dad Returns: Background strippers pole dance while a group peyote trip begins stageside.
Also, Niecy Nash (Rayneesha) does a little sarcastic pole dance in the fifth season's opening credits.
Correction: Family Guy's 'Business Guy' episode actually DOES have pole dancing in the background, a non speaking character does a Martini Spin.
The Family Guy, Stewie does 'Showgirls', clip linked above is from, "The Blind Side", S10 E11.

How about season one when Hayley shaves her head, moves out with Jeff (to his shag-van…parked in front of their house…) and starts stripping. At the end she flips into a CAR and her wig falls off and she gets booed offstage for being bald lol.
