Yay my X pole is here and assemmbled!!
I should have made a video on how not to do it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif In my excitment when I was eyeing up the pole to see if it was straight i forgot i hadnt put any tension behind it and it tipped over, i just about caught it before it hit my glass table XD Opps
Feels a lot different to the ones I use in class. Dunno if its just that its a couple of mm bigger but seems harder to grip. But all part of the fun https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif -
Wow that was super fast!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif You’ll get used to the grip! We use 50mm X-poles in the studio I take lessons in and when I got my pole (a 50mm x-pole!) it felt less grippy than the studio pole which I couldnt understand cause they’re the same pole but after a while I got used to the grip of my own pole and I find the grip of the studio poles less grippy some times! Its all about what you’re used to. Maybe Im wrong, I dunno.

Yes I’m glad you were able to avoid the "stupid tax", unlike me. And you got your pole in a day!? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif I had to wait a week!! (then again, it was shipped from CA and I live in NY)
Congrats! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
