Have you considered Skype? It may give you more options.

Hello! I’m pretty new to this site and I’m a pretty new pole dancer (Just started in late August) but as dustbunny said I would be up to having a Skype pole friend. I work nights here in the US so I’m usually up throughout the evening.. I’ve have to check the time difference for where you are in the UK but it could possible work out! π I’m not sure I’d be helpful… like I said I’m so new… but we could help keep each other accountable!
Let me know if you’re interested. π

Hey there apolemorphic and everyone! I work 12 hour nights and would be willing to try skyping. Problem is last time I tried to do it it asked for a US code and had no idea where to find it or what it was. If anyone would be able to trouble shoot I would be up for skype sessions. I used an iPad at that time and now also have an iPad mini if that helps with figuring out the issue.

12 hour nights are exactly what I do. You a nurse too? π I’ve never heard of that code but I’ll be happy to look into it. I’m getting a new web cam here in a few days so hopefully we can make some magic happen. Being up at night by yourself sure can get lonely!
What would a Skype session entail? Excersizes then pole moves and some stretching? Just pole? I’m sorta nervous hahaha

You don’t need a code to use the SV chat room here Γ°ΕΈΛΕ

I am in US. π I would love to have someone to practice with.

This is such a great idea. I use to pole all the time when i had a partner but when i moved i don’t have the drive to do it as much. I’m in the US and have my own pole and would love to have an accountability partner for pole!!!!

I also really wish I had a consistent pole partner to practice with. A friend from my capoeira class randomly showed up in one of my intermediate pole classes several months ago; as it turned out, she’d been poling at the same studio and I hadn’t known it. She’s pretty much dropped out so now I have no one to play with really. Hopefully now that my back injury is calming down and I’m about to resume studio classes again I’ll make some new pole friends. The only problem I’ve had so far is that the girls at my studio aren’t that consistent or else their schedules just don’t jive with mine and they end up in a different class as we progress, or else they decide to quit, so that with each advancement I end up in a class with total strangers. Which is totally fine, and we all make friends pretty quickly, but it just results in me having no consistent pole friend to jam with outside of class. I’ve even tried to artificially create new pole friends by pushing my non-pole friends to play with me. This has had very little success so far, and no one I have exposed has been interested in taking pole classes. Most people aren’t even willing to touch the pole. They just shrug and say, “I’m not strong enough to do that.” I just hope that in staying with the studio I will eventually have consistent pole friends π

Well let me know if anyone is interested in setting up some times! Feel free to shoot me a message. My new webcam should be here any day now. Again, I’m in the US mountain time and I’m generally up nights (my schedule changes every week so I may not be able to be consistent the same day every week).
Holla! π

I’m down my schedule is pretty crazy too but I’m sure we can work something out

Hi, I’m in South Wales…it’s a fair drive (!) but I occasionally go to Berkshire which is close. A little motivation by email of Facebook perhaps a good idea in between?

I know exactly how you feel PoleGirl and Moonmin91. My pole school closed down due to the lease running out and non of the girls are really too bothered or consistent in poling consistently. I know money is a big issue but I also have my pole at home and would love to practice regulary with someone. I just don’t feel motivated enough doing it alone. If anyone lives in the London area and is looking for a pole friend please let me know =). Good luck everyone in finding a pole partner

Yes I am a nurse as well, amorphic and work 12 hr nights. Is it necessary to have a webcam to do video sessions cause I don’t have one.I only have the camera on my iPad. Veena- I never used the chat on the site. How do I use it for video sessions? I thought it was purely for chatting/texting. Im not very savvy when it comes to technology obviously.

I’m a nurse too (CNA) lol planning on starting RN school in 2016 π starting a new job at the hospital with 12 hour shifts in Feb. But im still interested in pole jamming with you all if we can work something out!

blueyedgrl – I’m not super familiar with ipads but I know you can skype and facetime with them so I figure we can make a pole jam work! For me the chatrooms are on the bottom of the page. I have just never set a time to meet up with someone to give it a try. Let me know if/when you wanna give it a try and we can experiment!
calipolepixie – grats on going to nursing school! it totally sucks! hahaha
