Hey everyone I have now started my lessons after arm and shoulder injury and so far I am working on my strength and conditioning! I can only do the pole holds by squeezing my knees onto the pole… Is this ok whilst in building my strength or am I just cheating myself? Any advice welcome!! Cheers! 🙂

hey! welcome to the wonderful world of studio veena!! =) i think with pole holds you should try to just hold on with your hands, its helps me to really press my stomach into the pole and arch my back to raise my feet up towards my bum (im doing it right at the very end of this video ..) https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/540c6815-3190-47fd-8f43-61490a9aa0eb

although, if you are still recovering from arm & shoulder injury then maybe it might be better to take some of the weight in your knees at the beginning until you get stronger… hopefully someone more experienced will chime in here with some more advice =)
