I have my pole in my garage, and was wondering if anyone knows what I can put under it so I am not dancing on concrete. I dont want to do something that is going to be expensive, but I want to be able to slide on the floor and do my spins without tearing up my feet.

Do you have a menards where you’re from? They sell this carpet that’e like 9×7 feet and it’s meant for outdoor patios (comes in ugly green or ugly navy lol) I think they have rolls of vynil tile that’s 9×7 too

A lot depends on whether you can put something down permanently or it needs to be removable. Also when you say under it, you probably want more around it? You do not want the pole resting on something that can move, unless we will get video later 🙂
If it does not rain into the garage you can use any type of carpet (otherwise outdoor carpet) but it needs to be mounted so it does not slip. Carpet Tape works well if the concrete is clean and can be taken up easily at any time. For more permanent there is spray adhesive. Have seen linoleum used which needs an adhesive. If you can mount it even more permanent there is hardwood flooring like Ava Madison used. If I get a pole in my garage that is what I am planning on using.

Flooring types that would be good for dancing on would be hardwood, laminate wood, and VCT. You can build a “stage” out of any of these options to put under/around your pole, but have you considered polishing and sealing your concrete floor? With the right products it can become smooth as glass and wouldn’t affect the functionality of the garage for future use. Obviously, any decisions would depend on your housing situation and the permanence of your needs.
