How long after you went back on? 3 weeks
Which pregnancy was it? ( 1st,2nd,3rd ect..) 4th baby, only baby where I had been poling. All other pregnancies I had done strength training, I didn’t know pole existed.
How was your pregnancy/labour? Very easy!
What moves did you start with? I started with traditional moves that were considered Beginner at the time, HOWEVER, this was 5 yrs ago….spins and things of that nature were “beginner”. Coming back after time off the pole and starting off again untrained, this is when I decided to develop my own method! I realized spins were not good for beginners, they were very hard on untrained shoulders, wrists, hands and the body over all. I developed a method that started by using strength building pole work first, not spins. While spins do build strength, you need strength and conditioning to perform most of them safely, to reduce risk of injury.
How were your abs feeling after? Like they were gone!
After my tummy tuck u went back in and my abs tingled, should this be expected again PP? I never had ab tingling. Weakness is normal and so is abdominal separation, if you have this avoid moves like sit ups.
How long a session did you do? My first session was about an hour, I was disappointed I could remember HOW to do everything, but my body was not physically able. This is NORMAL. 🙂
Here’s what I would suggest…Once cleared for exercise from your DR or Midwife, start with the 30 Day Take Off Program! It’s fast so you spend less than an hour a day, it’s easy to follow and you don’t have to think about what to work on, it’s all there for you everyday. I even tell you when to rest and what you can do on rest days. 🙂
