so I’ve been thinking about getting me some pole shoes. Problem being that I live in my boyfriend’s house and he’s a bit nervous about his floor getting damaged. You ladies who use pole shoes at home, does your floor suffer?

What kind of flooring? I can say that the studios that I have been to that have wood floors you can definitely tell shoe marks on the floor. But that is from quite a bit if use. Also when I had a piece of paneling under my pole in the garage I had little swirl marks from my shoes and pivots.

Most of the floor marks come from wearing black shoes and doing moves where you put weight on the toes… dragging the toe and certain floor work moves (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwg2yJHXwjk at 1:50 is what causes most of the floor marks for me). The clear shoes haven’t ever left a scuff for me. http://www.myshoeaddictiontoo.com/pleaser/Kiss-208-c.jpg
