Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! (I've been away from SV all weekend – in-laws were in so nothing pole related. 😛 I'm coming out to them as a pole dancer, soon, though– hiding is too hard.)

Meg the Knife makes me smile, I would have loved that when I was doing straight burlesque since it's more humorous.

Right now torn between Wolf and Whiskey! I'll keep thinking about it.

@miamishyner – I love that there's another 1st pet named Ginger out there!

Your pet/street names are so great!!

When I first joined SV I had just started Pole and used my email handle (Terp258) as my name here, not giving any thought to Stage/Stripper/Burlesque what-have-you… Not real sexy…

I recently updated to my nickname given by my bff back in high school. But still not sexy or pole-ish. Also taken in various forms by other polers. (i.e TripleBexxx)

My pet/street name would be Gracey Morten… but I've always heard the Middle name/Street like MissKitty suggested. For me that would be Lynn Morten. Neither are too bad… maybe I should go with that?

Thought about going with my newly found fav drink Dirty Martini, but that's maybe too burlesque and def not believable

Oh and @Meaganoff — I like Meg Whiskey!

My husband didn't want me using my real name when I first started teaching Pole Parties, so he came up with Sedona for me. The name never really stuck and I kept introducing myself by my real name. The name came from my fav little town in my home state of AZ, and me having red hair made it work sorta.

Going with the Middle name/Street, my husband ends up being Herbert Sagewood. TOTAL Porn Star name!

I’ve never had a pet in my life, so I don’t have a stage name using that method at all!

But using the middle name/street combo, I’d be Elizabeth Sycamore. Not particularly sexy… In fact, it’s distinctly middle-aged housewife! Hmm, back to the drawing board I think.

I like Terpsikhore, but it’s a. unoriginal (as the greek muse of dance, there must be a million people out there using Terpsikhore as a stagename) and b. difficult to pronounce.

For myself I'v always liked the name Luna, it's a nickname I've had for a wile in fact some friends of mine refer to me as Luna rather than Christy/Christina. If I could make Luna work I think i wwould use that as a stage name. Ill have to put some thought into it 🙂

I call myself "Kim Possible" like the animated hero.  My middle name is Kim, and well, anything is possible with God.  So I like Kim Possible https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Cool way to come up with a name. My first pet name was Kitt. The first street I remember living on was Ebony Lane. I kinda like the reverse, Ebony Kitt. Hmmm or just plain Ebony Lane like Lois Lane.

A guy walked into class one day and I had my bangs down (I had been wearing them pulled back for a while) and he went "Heeey! Brittany Bangs! I like it" and my stage name was born!

I just reread through this thread (so funny, some of these names!) and since posting that my burlesque name was Bijou Blanc, I have totally changed it.  I had a couple of friends check out a video, and told them to name that dancer. And thus, my new burlesque name was born: Alice B. Heartless. I love this name!

I was told a while back after getting up on stage that I needed a stage name.  I went through a bunch that were all chemistry related but finally settled on one that was perfect: Chemmie Sutra.

Haha, at our studio we encourage using alter-egos/stage names, so in my first class when they asked me who I was I went with the first thing that popped into my head — "Ginger", because I have bright red hair. Not very inventive, but it stuck like glue and I don't think half the people at the studio know my real name. LOL

Someone also gave me the name "Cherry Bomb" (I think all of my names go with my hair), which I will reverse for my super-stripper moments.

I don't have a stage name but a friend told me it should be "Slimer" because my hands are so sweaty, I always leave the pole all smudged with my sweat. Haha! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I love this thread and everyone has awesome names. My real name is Georgina Grace but if I change it to pet and street name I become….Heman Hibbert! Think I’m gonna need to have a better name than that 🙂
