I was required to come up with a stage name last year for an aerial hoop performance-Eva High. Eva is my middle name & what poler/hooper doesn’t want to be high:)

My pet/ street name would be Daisy Drysdale!! Ha! Maybe I should have my classmates name me! -

The first pet/street naming thing totally does not work for me. When I was 3 or 4, I got a red-ear slider turtle for Christmas, my first pet. I was young and I named her Dumpy. I lived on Angelina Circle at the time, and while Angelina is pretty, nothing can survive with Dumpy as the first name.
I recently came up with a stage name for my new youtube account, to keep pole things separated from my personal videos. I came up with Lorelai Jane and I love it. It's similar enough to my real name to sound familiar, but still different enough to be, well, different. I'm kind of a plain Jane kind of girl, so that's where the Jane came from. And, although I love Gilmore Girls, the name Lorelai is actually from a couple of rock songs by Styx and by Scorpions, but spelled different.

I don't have street names where I'm from. Mine would literally come out to Hammy 91 St. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif I had honestly never given much thought to having a stage name, even my SV name is my real name haha. But if I could honestly have a stage name, it would totally be Charlize Harris. I like Charlize Theron and Harrison Ford and put their first names together. Had to axe off the "o" and "n" because it made the name sound better without!

I go by organic angel here b/c we are made of organic matter and I think that we are all actually angels:)
On FB I go by Star Smith(feel free to add me). I always checked into hotels w/ my hubby with the last name as Smith when we first met. I loved getting our reservations for dinner with that name(I had an "alias" first name too.) We stayed at really ritzy places and I felt like a celebrity. I figured it would be "cool" just to check in that way ;))
When I first started FB I only used it to find businesses from time to time b/c many people use it as their business web page. Only recently did I begin using it. I was anti FB for a long time b/c of stalkers and such. I also feel robbed of privacy at times (while at others I like to shout out certain things lol) Anyway…"Star" just came to mind and my husband reads it as "starsmith"…like blacksmith…all together. I love this! I need to change my SV and stage name. I went with Pole Raven because it was suggested to me and I needed a name right before a contest (my real name is unique and I didn't want everyone in town knowing I was in the contest).
Pet+ Street= Lightning Spring — this might be nice in reverse, Spring Lightning
Middle + Street = Ann Spring…meh

Some really cool orgin stories here! great thread! I've been wanting a stage name/alter ego pole name but I havent been able to think of one. I love Beyonces alter ego name Sasha Fierce, would love something catchy like that but my brain hasn't thought of anything cool yet.
Calipolepixie came from #1 i'm in California, #2 i like pole #3 pixie because tinkerbell is my fave disney character. The end. lol Lame I know.

My nick name since middle school has been “Feb.” But my stage name has been Caprica for the past three month. Unfortunately, being a reference to a syfy show, I don’t think I’ll stick with it for fear of being sued :p
If I did pet/street, my name would be Sasha Cheyenne. Which is alright, except Sasha is traditionally a Russian BOY name.

my username/stage name came about at a party. my friend took me to a party at one of her friend's houses and they had given her a nickname and wanted to give me one too so I felt part of the group. the guy was like "well you are persian, so we should find something that rhymes with that!" so he sits there thinking of what rhymes with that and all of a sudden came up with the word excursion cuz one of his friends drives one of those. So I became PersianXcursian. I modified the spelling a bit

If I went with the pet+street thing mine would be Smokey RIver – I kinda like it. There's nothing better than sitting around a campfire at the edge of a river in the middle of nowhere after a long day.
When I was stripping I went by Rayne or Rayne Makur – because I love playing outside during a thunderstorm (and when you're on stage it's always nice to have someone "make it rain"). I'm sure there are lots of people out there who only know me as Rayne – and I'll still answer to that as quickly as I do my real name.
