Pole supposed to behave this way? (second-hand second guessing)

Did u tighten each hole a little bit or did u tighten the top hole thn the second hole after the 1st because ur meant to tighten each bit at a time as u could over tighten it. Have u tried to take it down and put it back up again to see if that helps.

I'm just gonna drop it for now, and just use it, or sign up for a pole-dancing course and perhaps ask someone there who has a pole of their own to take a look at the pole. Thanks for the help everyone!
