These are my random pole rants/ questions for the day would anyone like to add to the list or agree so that I know I am not alone?

    1. Does anyone ever work on a moves and then finally get it only to realize you forgot to hit record on your camera? You might have poler problems!! That would be today's most bonehead moment made myself sick !!https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif

    2. Has anyones arms gotten so big that all your shirts feel like they are cutting off the circulation in your arms? If so you might have poler problems !! My shirts have gotten so tight in the arms I have to cut or make little snippets in the arms. I feel like Rambohttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif

    3. Is there anyone over the age of 35 who poles for a few hours and then realize you're no longer a spring chicken after you sit down and get back up? If so you may have poler problems!!https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif <– This is look I have when I am debating how I am going to roll my ass off the couch!!

Totally random post I know, but I couldn't help it! This has been a awful beginning of the week for me,but as long as I can laugh about I am doing great! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

A big yes to 2 & 3! My arms and lats are ridiculous. I do silks more than pole, but still. I'll be 37 in a month and I spend half my time saying ouch.

Yep #1 and #3 are DEFINITELY me all the way

I have a few poler problems to add:

Finally nail a move after weeks of sweat and tears and then when you go to show someone(who doesn't pole) suddenly you can no longer do it. WTF?

You can do a move consistently in the pole studio and/or using someone elses pole but when you get home, it's like you never nailed it

You trip in regular shoes (I trip ALOT in my tennis shoes and bare feet lol) but in stilettos or platforms you could dance a ballet without faultering or a single stumble. The bigger the heel the better you dance lol

You get spare $$$ and the first thing you do is look for something, anything pole related to buy with the extra $–I've had like $5 extra once and was pissed that I couldn't find anything pole related to buy with the $$$ lol

When you f up a move royally, you ARE recording and when you nail a move you AREN'T recording

I can't wear my woven shirts any more because they are too tight on my upper arms. I have a bigger upper body to begin wtih so pole just made it more obvious. I only wear knit tops now! ISo i feel ya.

And Calipolepixie, I ALWAYS nail moves at pole jams or on someone elses pole. Especially  if I just told them I can't do that move, but I'll try anyway. People think I'm just beign modest. But I'n trying to be, its a fluke, I swear. Then when I get home, it's gone.

Random strangers (at the supermarket, at the post office, etc) whisper when you walk in. Then you realize it's because it's summer, you're wearing shorts, and there is a 6 inch technicolor bruise on your thigh.

Going to your annual OB/GYN appointment with bruises all over the insides of your legs, arms & ribcage….its those moments that I’m glad I have a few photos on my phone I can pull up to prove I’m not making up stories….

And pedicures…what a waste of money these days….not like I have any money because it all gets spent on grip aides & leg warmers…..which BTW I highly recommend removing before running into the grocery store for milk on your way home…. the spandex shorts get you enough strange looks as it is.
