Don’t know if anyone has posted on this yet…..I have looked through the majority of the pages on here but still could have missd. Has anyone ever had dreams about poling?
It will still be about 2-3 weeks before I can afford my own pole….(I had to get a second job) and I have been thinking about it non-stop since I found this site. LOL.
I had a weird dream last night. Don’t know where I was, who I was with…..there was just a pole, outside at that. All I do know was that I was awesome. HeHe. Was just dancing around the pole as if I was practicing, not for a show or anything. This just made me more anxious to get mine! Just curious to see if any others have experienced a poling dream. Would like to hear. Thanks! J

Wow, I have had so many pole dancing dreams, I can’t even recall how many https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I do know its usually me just doing amazingly advanced stuff, that I don’t think would be humanly possible….The dreams have always been, just in my own home.I don’t think I have ever had a dream where I was performing, not yet anyway. Sometimes I dream about a move that I’m trying to learn, and it plays over and over alllll night long, now that, gets annoying, kinda like a song that just wont get out of your head! YEAH. I have those ones. I’m so super amazing and flexible, legs are flying everywhere, effortless lifting of my body! It’s kind of like.. JK-esque. Except even more impossible. And I’m always in my house, on my own pole.

    oh yeah! for sure!
as i mentioned in one of the other threads, my pole dancer name came to me in a dream! and i dream quite often i´m up there doing amazing things! sometimes i´m by myself, sometimes there are lots of other people. i don´t think i´m at home, but don´t really know where i am. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
i thought i had these dreams because i was frustrated by being off the pole all these months. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif i´m happy to see that it´s probably not that and i hope to keep having them once i´m back up there… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    +1

I always have invert dreams where I’m lifting as easily and gracefully as Jamilla.
    And it’s way cool.

But then I try it in reality, kick the pole instead and fall on the ground laughing.

Does anyone else find themselves daydreaming about moves while waiting for lights to change? On the bus etc?

I have pole dance dreams all of the time..sometimes dancing on a stage at a club..but most of the time my dreams are replaying my recent practice sessions and why I couldn’t get a move. A lot of times I have the "I got it!" light bulb and my following practice I nail the move. It’s like I learn from my mistakes while dreaming…at least most of the time! Usually in my dreams I am WAY more flexible than what I am! And when I wake up I could swear that I could do a straddle all the way down…but it dosen’t work out that well! hehe! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I do tend to daydream a lot about pole! I’ve even caught myself in mid conversation and totally missed what the other person was saying…

I think this is just another sign of addiction!:)

I don’t think I’ve had any poling dreams… yet. I tend to have random dreams that make absolutely no sense whatsoever, so when I wake up I don’t have a coherent thought to remember. If anything I have mental images of what I saw, but nothing describable.

I daydream constantly about poling! It’s usually replaying my favorite clips from videos I’ve seen on here or YouTube (mostly here). Veena’s, Fleur’s, and Sascha’s videos always seem to stick out in my mind, but I’ve probably had days where I’ve been thinking about just about every video I’ve seen. I sit there and try to think about the moves and how I would do them and if I could pull them off… but other than my husband, no one knows about my poling so I can’t talk to anyone about it!!! And my husband has no idea about the technical stuff so it’s all lost on him. When I told him I could do a gemini-scorpio switch he just stared at me… lol. It’s hard because everyone around me can tell I’m deep in thought and ask about it, and I have to make something up reeeallly quick!

One of these days I’ll go back to that bar where they have the pole where I first got interested in pole dancing, and just jump up there and wow everyone. That’s probably what I daydream about the most – is just surprising everyone by showing them how awesome I can be on a pole without telling them first!

I have them almost every night now : D
Actually, some studies have suggested that when you dream about a new skill, it means you’re learning it better because your subconscious is sifting through everything you’ve taken in and organizing it in your brain. Hence why people say that when you dream in another language, it means you’re mastering it!

I love having pole dreams, though, cause I’m so much better in my dreams and I never get tired or sore! hahah : P
