Hi there, does anyone know if its OK to pole practice every day or should I be resting my muscle and doing it every other day? I just love the pole and can’t seem to pass it without doing a few spins and inverts. But I use it as my workout for 1 hour 2-3 days in a row then I have to work 2-3 days, 12hr shifts. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif THANKS,JONI

As a beginner it is best to have a day of rest between work outs. If you are just walking passed it and do a few spins, im sure that is alright. That technically isnt a full on work out, lol. I know how hard it is to stay off it tho! Such a pain when all you can think about it doing something on it.

At least if you are getting on it everyday and CANNOT keep yourself off, maybe one day do an hour and the next day just do 10 to 15 minutes of spinning or transitions…. something not terribly hard. You definitely need time for your muscles to recover.

BUT since i read your profile and you have been poling for 2 years… i think you’d be alright to do it every day. Especially if you are comfortable in your strength and whatnot. You will know when you need your rest, your body will tell you.
