As a beginner, I'm often told "You need shorts!!!!" I heeded the advice, pole in shorts. STILL having trouble with any thigh grips like pole sit. I wonder: How do people do pole sits in jeans and things?? I think I saw a knee hold and the girl was in jeans about 20 ft off the ground. Is this just sheer muscle overriding the benefit of skin friction? Are they just that good? Thanks!

I once asked Karol at a party and she said they're MAGIC JEANS!!! LOL!!! J/K. Her and Jenyne both said you just squeeze harder… a lot harder.

Does anyone ever use/spray grip aides on clothes? I don’t own any aides, just curious about the whole thing. LOL@ magic jeans 🙂

Poling in jeans is freakin' hard. Can't imagine letting go with the hands!

Jeans would be crazy! I bought a cheep pair of fake leather pants to learn how to do superman though! I gave them to my mom after i learned because it was to tempting to wear them on the pole all the time!

No aides on clothes. I tried poling with a full costume. It was hard because you def need to squeeze a lot more. I could only do split grip inverts and basic moves. Wouldn’t suggest inverting unless you feel really stable.

Poling in jeans = H-A-R-D. There are a lot of moves I just won't try.

I know that Rebecca Butcher sprayed her suede pants with Pole Physics before her one performance and Karol used something called Butterfly Grip when she poled after USPDF several years back.

I have also seen David pull some stuff (jade, chopstix, pretty much anything) in pants but then David is just a freak of pole.

butterfly balm is basically cramer's firm grip paste… it hs the same texture and grip… it's some kind of rosin paste.

rebecca butcher used in that performance! She is a spokesperson for that brand 🙂

after seeing felix pole in uggs, tried it once– it's actually really easy! try ti sometime– it's ilke magic. poling in full pants and uggs and sticking to the pole 🙂

Lmao! I can confirm the David comment. Went street poling with him once and he can do *anything* in jeans. No spray necessary. Jenyne doesn’t use anything either. It’s possible!

lol Chem I started doing a search for pole physics spray!  With some types of material cramer firm grip spray works for me, I have a pair of thigh high synthetic leather boots that it works on also I use it on fishnet tights. I tried spraying it on jeans but nothing 🙁
