Two nights ago I stepped on a piece of glass that turned out to be a shattered perfume sample vial so it was extremely sharp and very hard. I have been limping around at work trying to favor that foot, although luckily it stabbed me where my foot is tough from wearing heels all the time. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I have noticed lots of videos of girls poling with heels on so it must not be absolutely necessary to incorporate the bottom of one's feet? For example, climbing with the top and sides of the foot. I am so ready to order a pole, so I can finally get started but I am affraid I might need to wait until my foot heals…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

I think dancing in releve "balls of the feet" is something I think we all should work on. It creates a much pretty line when walking around the pole, if your not wearing heels. It's also good practice for your inverts, if you're up on the toes you can't kick! You shouldn't need the heel for hardly any pole work. I've danced with an injured foot before. If you cut the foot I would be careful though, because the increased bloodflow could cause it to bleed. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
