    I have been poling regularly for a little over a year now and have gained sooo much upper body and core strength from it! (YAY) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif 

    Anyhow, I am now pregnant with my 3rd & I have been continuing to pole like usual. I haven't learned/tried any new tricks or any tricks that I am not REALLY solid with, since finding out. 

    I am about to be going into my 2nd trimester and I'm certain inverting will be out of the question within a couple of weeks, simply for the fact that all this extra blood flow makes me dizzy after about 30 mins & so I stop for the day.

    My question is this: what pregnancy-safe exercises can I continue doing to maintain all this glorious pole muscle until after baby?? 

    I have been doing planks, pushups, some pull-ups….just wondering if you all have any other suggestions/experience for some non-pole exercises, so I can hopefully not have to start over TOO much later this year!

    I haven't any advice for the exercises, as to be honest i'm too sick to do much at the moment but just wanted to say hi 'cause it sounds like we'll be due around the same time. Currently 12 weeks with my first, due 30th Sept. Hope all goes well for you! x

    Ugh, morning sickness is no fun…I hope you get some relief soon! I'm due Sept 26th, nice to "meet" ya 🙂

    While searching for fitness dvd for during pregnancy, I came across this one and thought it was interesting. I have not seen any video clips but it has good reviews.

    Congratulations to you both! Just wanted to join in as im 19 weeks pregnant. Due date 14th august. I had been poling for 3 years so really worried about losing my strength. Id just started to get my SM, and gutted im goin to have to start over. I couldn’t pole at home so stopped poling. Really miss stretching too. I am looking to start a pregnancy yoga class. But if anyone has any other advice on exercises id really appreciate it. Luckily I have to big dogs that need walking, so I am at least doin some exercise. Also gutted im probably goin to have to start from fresh with my splits! Lookin forward to have an excuse to do some polin on the kids playground tho. 😀
