    Hi there!

I love the stargazer as am move and can do it even without holding on to my leg, but I can’t figure out a way of entering and exiting in a pretty or interesting way. I usually perform it on spinny and get in and out very quick to make it look less awkward, but I was wondering if there are other moves to transition from / to other than climb & hold.
I haven’t seen anyone doing thios move in a competiton, so might it be because this issue hasn’t been solved?

You can transition into it from a skater , maybe exit from a reverse jasmine

Here’s a lady doing a nice combo with stargazer in https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/b76f4890-bce4-11df-856f-001b214581be
Ok splits up pole might be bit ambitious but you could pole sit or just pole hold and extend a leg, then slide down.

Funny, I was just thinking of this same question today. I haven’t tried it yet, but I think you should be able to go into a marley from the stargazer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gLTEFvaND0&t=2m31s shows her going from eros to tornado to stargazer, but I’m not sure if that works on spin.

    WOOHOO that’s me!

Marley is the wrong grip tho. (it’s inside thigh grip, where brass monkey is outside thigh grip)

I will usually pull up and take advantage of the deep knee grip into a remi sit.

I usually just climb into it, but I have exited it by taking the bottom leg off the pole and extending it either parallel to the ground (going into Rainbow) or taking it all the way up high (into cross knee release) then you can do any number of things from there.

    You girls are awesome!! Thanks!

Actually I tried eros the other day (without noticing that this would be a nice transition to star gazer) but it really scares me, I don’t know why. Needs some work I guess. Especially going into tornado. Scary! But I love that combo!

Totally forgot about the ckr! That’s a nice one too and I did transition to that before, just forgot it…

Need to try the remi sit!

    Again, thanks ladies!
