    No, what he said is that it would be very hard to put it back in spin.  I would have to unscrew each pole again to push the button down

    Do you have a picture of this mechanism?  I have never seen the rotators and any image I get on a search does not show buttons.

    I will take a picture when I get back to the studio. It looks like the old screw they had, but you push it down now instead of screwing it

    I seem to have been able to get the pin the right amount of tightness, because it goes up and down pretty easily, but I don't find myself unlocking it accidentally by stepping on it. Maybe try to tighten the perpendicular screw just a little bit? 

    I agree, I've seen the older mechanism with the Lil Minx poles and I think it worked much better. I'm sorry they changed it. I can imagine it would be difficult for a beginner class to get the hang of while trying to learn everything else.

    I will try that, it was recommended to me to do so.  Hope it will help, but also not make it impossible to unlock.
