Proper USPDF attire?
So what’s everyone wearing to the competition? To their workshops?
No, seriously, I have no idea what to wear. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif Is it a jeans and t-shirt kind of a thing or are people planning on dressing up a bit?
And I’m paranoid that my pole clothes might be too skimpy, even though we kinda need skimpy to grip, lol. Is there such thing for a workshop???
P.S. I’m planning on bringing my Studio Veena clothes, so maybe we can all bring ours if we have them so we can easily spot other Veeners! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

So, last year in NY for the workshops everyone was in their usual workout wear: tiny or booty shorts, tanktops, sportsbras, heels.
To the competitions I’ve worn nice jeans and a shirt: in NY it was a long-sleeved Poletential tee, in LA it was our "Amber Rocks the Pole" t shirt!
For the afterparty people tended to doll up a bit more. However, this year the afterparty is close to the theater, so it may be that we go straight there from the comp depending on time (???) If so, I’ll be there in my jeans and Amber t-shirt! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Thanks Ellen! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I don’t get out much, and I never know what to wear – I’m that girl who always shows up to the bar with jeans and a long-sleeve sweatery thing (because I’m always cold) to discover that everyone else is there in a miniskirt and tank tops, even though it’s winter. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif BRRR!!!
Maybe I’ll layer it – wear a nice tank top under my SV shirt and just yank the top one off when I get to the after party, and stuff some jewelry in my pocket or something. ive been trying to figure this out too…for workshops im wearing shorts…like mini volleyball style, not really ‘booty’ i dont want to scare anyone haha but i dont think that’s weird if other people do and and a tank with a sports bra under it to i can take it off if i needs me some more skin =)
as for the comp…im lost. I will DEFF wear heels, really tall ones. i wear heels everywhere haha. i was thinking my white ripped up skinny jeans, aaaand thats where it stops haha. i have nothing else yet…a top of sorts? idk but im thinking im gonna do a heels jeans, cute top deal for the competition. and Maybe a heels leggings shirt dress thing for the after party…if there are poles there i’ll probably wanna play some =) and since my hotel is like less than a minute from the theater ill have time to change and freshen up =)

Last year, people wore whatever they wanted to wear to the competition, plus it was still a bit cooler I think. Some women had on heels and jeans and cute tops. Some wore their pole studio’s ‘nalia. I didn’t go to the after-party, so I’m thinking if you want to be cute for the after-party, you should probably wear that outfit to the competition in case you don’t want to change afterwards.
