  Purchasing a pole

  I am new to this and I'm about to start lessons.  I would like to purchase a pole to practice but I'm planning on moving soon.  Are poles adjustable or what should I do since I don't know how high the ceiling is going to be?  Any suggestions?

  I only know about x-poles and they go up to 12 ft I think.  Yes they are adjustable. This website is pretty helpful:

  x pole, platinum stages, and lilmynx all have adjustable height poles. Most homes run about 8', but there are some weird ones out there. Go browse through the 3 websites to see what fits your needs.
