  • Question about X Pole Ceiling Mount

I’ve just grabbed myself another X Pole & want to put it up in a room with a wooden beam running across it.
My question is whether I should get the vaulted ceiling mount or the standard ceiling mount (spinning) as the underside of the beam is not quite level. Is there enough play in the standard mount to accommodate any slight angle or does everything have to be exactly level?
I cant see from the pictures on X Pole’s website if the ball joint in the non-vaulted mount is designed to have any side to side motion as they say it allows the pole to flex in all directions.

I had the non-vaulted mount on a wooden beam that wasn’t level and had no problems.

I think there’s enough play in the mount and you should be fine

Thank you both for good advice! 🙂 I’ve ordered the standard mount along with a lovely pole warmer which should be delivered on Monday. Can’t wait to play on spinny again, it’s been a while! 😛
