Real X Pole or Fake X Pole?
I need some help. I recently bought a pole second hand. It was sold to me as an x pole xpert. However, a friend and I have been trying to figure out if it's genuine or not. She has a new version of the x pole and her dome is completely different to mine. Whilst I was at my pole class tonight the instructor took down one of the poles and the dome was the same as the one I have. It also has other similar x pole features (white silicone around the top and base, small x's) Can anyone help? Do I have an older version of the x pole, or is it a fake? All help is appreciated. X-Perts don't have screws in the dome and that is not an X-Pole X on the base.

Sorry but that is not an X-Pole original judging from the base photo.
As Webmaster says both the Dome screws (No X-Pole has scerws like this) and the X on the base is not correct
Please post a photo of the whole front of the base from above, about 3' away and at an angle of 15 degrees off vertical so we can see inside the bearing unit and the bearings. Then we should be able to confirm.

I’ve put it away in storage now. I think we can sadly say I’ve been sold a fake though 🙁 thanks for all of your help!

No, but I only paid £50 for it anyway. It made me slightly dubious because anyone who knows anything about poles would not sell an x pole for £50 🙂
It works too. I’ve had it up. I’m just worried it will come crashing down in my head!
