I'm not ure about the 45s, but here is what to look for..

Is the dome metal? Does it have 3 bearings in the dome? Is the silicone clear or black? Are the threads welded into the tubes?

I can see the X on the bottom dome. It´s hard to see if the dome´s rubber is clear or black around because it´s in the bag, but I have asked about a pic of the upper dome to see the serialnumber – as you suggested Sensualscimitar.Thank you for your link, found a bigger pic at googel. I have also asked for a pic of the receipt.

@trinse the link doesnt work for me, it takes me to the add photos page so I can't see what yours looks like

My fake has a clear rubber ring. Mine also looks so similar to the pictures. I would say if your not sure, just buy one from Veena to be on the safe side…..it is so hard to tell.

Lyme Lyte is right. If you don't know for sure just buy from Veena. It does look like the real deal though. Oh and just so you know. The newer xpoles don't have serial numbers. I bought mine from xpole and that is what they told me. I think the serial numbers are on the box. I'm not sure. Anyways. Just buy from Veena or Xpole. Better safe than sorry.

Looking at the photo of the upper dome unit we cannot clearly see the top bearing. The photo is not the best, glare where the bearing is, but it appears that the upper dome bearing unit is missing.
As sensual says there shoud be a serial number sticker on the bottom of the dome or as this is an old XP type pole it could be on the bottom of the base.
It does appear to be an genuine X-Pole from what we can see and just so you know we still carry all the spares or can get spares for all the old (and current) poles so if you have a damaged or missing part your X-Pole distributor can help.

Just seen QueenJewells post. X-Poles still have serial numbers even the newer ones.

Sorry X pole tech. That is what someone from xpole Ca told me. She said she was kinda of new. I won't say her name cause she was nice and maybe she or I misunderstood something because we were discussing the fake pole issue. No one better to clear this matter than the X Pole Tech!

No problem we are here to help. Any questions please always contact your local country distributor. The USA have a great team in LA who will always do their best to assist.

X Pole Tech – thank you for your comments. So how should the upper dome look like with the unit that seems to be missing on the picture? And how old har the old x-pole´s? What´s the differents between the old and the new styles?
-
I would say its a genuine pole as its the exact same as mine and mine was from an xpole retailer. hope this helps. x

I´ve got a receipt today, and it was bought march 2009.
But I´m curious about the missing part of the dome. The seller says everything is in good shape, and nothing about missing parts.
